There has been so much going on over the last term that it is hard to know where to start with this blog. I felt the most important piece of news to share though is about our future. I have had some very interesting conversations lately with one parent even asking me if they needed to move to Newcastle as they had heard the college was moving.
I can confirm that the college recently signed an agreement with the state government which secures our site at Kariong for the next 23 years. This is very exciting news for us and something I have personally been working very hard on for the past two years. It eliminates the stress of not knowing where we are going to be and allows us to go ahead with many plans that we have only been able to dream about.
In regards to comments as to whether we are moving, we are always looking for options and recent conversations have seen us consider where we would look to open a second campus. Newcastle is on our radar, however, there is still much work to do at our home base in Kariong and we will continue to focus our efforts on our current student base.
I would like to thank all of our staff, families and students for the support we have all shown each other and the great place we have collectively created to allow our students and staff to strive to be the best they can be.
I have enjoyed the last four years and look forward to the next 23!
