It is true, there are only 15 positions left for Year 7, 2017. During our first term, we have held four trial days and one Information Day, with prospective families from across the Central Coast, Sydney, Newcastle and even the Mid North Coast of NSW attending. After only three years in operation, IFS will have waiting lists for Year 6 through to Year 9 for 2017.
Whilst competition for positions at IFS and ITS is running at its highest ever level, I still encourage interested families to submit an online application as places can become available from term to term. This is because IFS and ITS are a very different option for your child. Although our information and trial days provide a reasonable view of both what we offer and our expectations of students, occasionally a student only realises after some time that he or she is not suited to the rigours of professional football or tennis training every day, coupled with an academically challenging curriculum.
With a successful Kindy program up and running and Kindy 2017 applications exceeding expectations, I’m hopeful a tick of approval from BOSTES in the coming months means we will operate Kindergarten through to Year 12 by the beginning of 2017.
