It is very exciting that so many families have made a commitment to be a part of the Central Coast Sports College for 2013 and I look forward to sharing this journey with you.
I have been so inspired by the many families we have met so far, especially when I hear what you are looking for in a college and a football development program. Teaching, for me is about making a difference, and I strongly believe that IFS will make a difference for our students and their families.
I am committed to ensuring that IFS offers personalised pastoral care and an engaging education program that is student-centered. Our aim is to prepare students for life. Our motto of Balance in learning, life and play guides our whole college approach to fostering successful learners both in the classroom and on the playing field.
We have a brilliant team of enthusiastic and motivated teachers and coaches, who are also committed to supporting our students as they strive towards reaching their potential in everything they do.
Our combined focus, both in the academic and football program, is to develop relationships with the students we teach and their families, to ensure what is being taught is relevant to today and that our students are challenged in all that they do.

This is a collection of links to a variety of quality websites, journal articles, blogs and video footage that I have put together for IFS parents. This link will be updates on a regular basis with new resources in order to provide a growing reference library for our growing college community.
I look forward to getting to know all our IFS families better and communicating with you all on a regular basis in the new college year.

I’ve been following the progress of the proposed new Central Coast Sports College from the start and it’s now like watching a snowball gathering pace with so many positives falling into place. The appointment of the first Principal, Laura Roberts, must give all followers and parents a great insight into just how professional and dedicated she is to the task ahead, especially when one reads the amount of research she has undertaken to ensure that, apart from her own expertise, no stone is left unturned to go that extra mile in gathering data and facts from experts around the world which will be an added advantage to the future students of the college.
As well, the college will have their own buses to transport students –
Lunches will be served from their own Canteen and they will be in a beautiful environment at Mt. Penang.
On the Football side of the curriculum they have a team of dedicated professional coaches to enhance their prospects in the sporting world.
It’s all happening and I feel that with so many people dedicated to making it the best possible opportunity for all who graduate from this college there will be many successful academics and sports stars. Well done to CEO Paul Chapman and the team who have worked tirelessly to bring this all together.
