Daniel Barrett
Head of Football
Daniel is the head coach of Sydney FC in the W-League. With coaching licenses from FFA and Asian Football Confederation, Daniel has over a decade of experience in coaching and youth football development. He has coached with Endeavour Sports High School, Central Coast Football, Central Coast Lightning Women’s Soccer, NSWIS and Sydney FC. Having produced minor premiers, state, national and young Matilda’s squad players, he has also been voted Senior Women’s Arrive Alive Coach of the Year by Football NSW.
Why I work at CCSC?
To give young players the opportunity to reach their potential. Having the opportunity to work with these youngsters everyday is surely motivating because it gives us a realistic chance of bringing the best out of every player that puts on an CCSC shirt.
Andre Gumprecht
A winner of the Mariners Player of the Year Award, Andre Gumprecht boasts an impressive football career spanning 19 years for clubs in Australia, Europe and Singapore, including five years as a German national team member. He holds the FFA’s highest coaching qualifications and has extensive experience implementing a range of skills acquisition and community coaching and development programs.
Why I work at CCSC?
To pass on my passion and knowledge of the game. To implement my own football philosophy at a professional level and create sustainable success through the establishment of appropriate talent hotbeds, as well as teaching professional standards both on and off the field.
Joey Peters
Hailed as one of the greatest female midfielders to ever play the game, Joey Peters played 110 internationals with the Matildas and is a FFA Hall of Fame inductee. Previously holding the position of assistant coach with the Newcastle Jets W-League, her numerous coaching credentials include the FFA A Licence.
Why I work at CCSC?
It’s a daily satisfaction to be entrusted with mentoring young players who are striving towards their potential as footballers and successful people. Having operated at the highest levels of this game for many years, I’m proud to be at the heart of answering FFA’s call for ‘fundamental transformation’ in youth development and coach education in this country.
Will Piriz
Will played in the State League Division 1 for a number of years before gaining his coaching qualifications and launching his coaching career on the Central Coast. He has been integral to the Central Coast Mariners, coaching the Elite Development programs and Mariners Academy.
Why I work at CCSC?
I choose to be at CCSC primarily because I am able to coach kids in the sport that I love. The added bonus of working with coaches who truly want to better all players by sharing information and ideas openly, gives me a greater desire to be part of IFS. Working with so many like minded players and coaches is the freshest way to start and finish the day!
Brad Porter
Completing scholarships with the NSW Institute of Sport and the AIS, Brad Porter represented the Young Socceroos and the Olyroos. He was a well respected Mariners player for seven years before retiring to coach with the Mariners Academy and various community development programs. He is currently completing his AFC coaching licenses.
William Vazquez
William is a soccer coach who gained a passion for the sport as a player throughout his youth. This translated in to coaching, where his love for learning and developing within football was ignited. He has since gained coaching licenses whilst also currently studying a Masters in High Performance Sport at University.
Why I work at CCSC?
When the opportunity to work in CCSC presented itself, I was extremely excited at the prospect of working daily with children who are hungry to learn and enjoy their football. I am very much looking forward to developing the young players and nurturing their passion for sport and exercise in general!
Patrick Zwaanswijk
Patrick started pro football at Ajax FC in 1995-98, then FC Utrecht 98-2004, Japan Oita Trinita 04-05, NAC Breda 05-2010 and the CC Mariners 2010-2013. Patrick won two FA Cups with Utrecht, played over 20 games in UEFA/Euro Cup games and over 500 games of pro football (around 630) including Cup and international games.
Patrick was an international U-19 and U-23 player for the Netherlands. Won best player of the year in Australia in 2011 (Alex Tobin Award), Team of the year 2011, 2012 & 2013. Patrick is the current record holder of four records in Australia: Oldest player to ever play, score and win an Australian Championship and 1st Dutchman to win the Australian title.
Patrick has been coaching since 2006 from the NAC Breda U-16’s (06-08), NAC Breda U-18’s (08-2010), CCM Youth team (13-14) and at the Central Coast Sports College since August 2014.
Why I work at CCSC?
To share my knowledge of the game with all the talent CCSC has to offer. To help young kids from U-9’s till U-18’s develop in their understanding of the football game, skills and enjoyment. To make each and every player I work with a better player and guide them towards their personal goals and dreams.
Servet Uzunlar
Uzunlar has had a decorated career that has seen her win 49 caps for the Matildas having represented the Green and Gold at two FIFA Women’s World Cups as well as being part of the Championship winning AFC Asian Cup squad in 2010. Topping that 2010 season, Uzunlar also took out the inaugural PFA Footballer of the Year award as selected by her fellow peers. At club level, Uzunlar has played her domestic football with Sydney FC from the team’s inception until 2010 until she joined rivals Western Sydney Wanderers before returning back to the Sky Blues during the 2014 Westfield W-League season.The former Australian International has also tasted club football success overseas having played for the likes of the Ottawa Fury, Chungbuk Sports Toto, Pali Blues and Fortuna Hjorring where she participated in the 2010 UEFA Women’s Champions League.
