From the beginning of this term, our two Under 10s teams have taken shape and begun the process of getting ready for the season ahead under the new name of IFS FC. So far, our preparation consists of two skill acquisition sessions as well as a futsal, yoga and multi-sport session each week. These sessions are conducted during college hours which enables us to relax in the afternoons and do things other than football. As a result, we are seeing more focused and energised participants each day for training which will give us the best chance of a highly positive experience this season.
So far, as a team we have been understanding how to apply our football skills in relation to the 9v9 format we will be experiencing this winter. In particular, we are beginning to understand the starting positions in different moments in a game along with our roles in different positions on the field. As a group, we are all highly excited to show everybody what we can do and what we have learned so far. Our goals are to enjoy our training and game experience along with improving as individuals and as a team.
