Last Sunday we hosted a record-setting Hot Shots event at Gosford Tennis Centre.Well over 100 players entered including approximately 30 players from Sydney which was great. Both top and bottom centres were jam-packed and full of great tennis the whole day. There were lots of amazing matches, none better than the Under 15 boys final played between two of our ITS players, AJ Foster and Keanu Vique.AJ won a close fought match but the level of tennis and sportsmanship from the boys was a credit to them both. Our other ITS champions on the day were Mia Tonga who won the Under 10 orange ball girls final and Leon Towle who was runner-up to our Gosford Academy player, Will Ellis.Another Gosford player, Shannon Spencer won the girls 15 final. All our ITS players were excellent ambassadors throughout the day and a big thanks and special mention to ITS students Matt Davey and Maddie Bowron who helped as court supervisors for the event. This event was a huge achievement for Gosford Tennis Centre and now we all look forward to a huge $15000 AMT event in the next few weeks with some of the best players in Australia competing over four days.If you want to see some great tennis then come down to Gosford Tennis Centre for our AMT.
