I have been involved in football for over 30 years, starting as a youngster in the Newcastle area before signing with Newcastle in the NSL in 2000. In a professional career spanning 15 years I have been lucky enough to travel the world and play in countries including Romania, Scotland, England, China, Hong Kong and of course Australia. I have won league titles in three of these countries including the 2013 A-League Championship. I also played in two Asian Champions League campaigns, an AFC Cup campaign and won the A-League Golden Boot and Joe Marston Medal in 2013.
After retiring as a professional footballer last year I completed my FFA/AFC C Licence and am currently completing my FFA/AFC B Licence. At the moment I am Head Coach at the Emerging Jets program with the Under 15’s boys team as well as a football coach at Hunter Sports High. I am also playing in the NNSW NPL with Edgeworth Eagles.
I am excited to be joining the team at IFS and working with like-minded people who are passionate about the game of football. I hope to bring my experience and professional talent to the college to help each and every student reach their maximum potential and their goals both on and off the football field.
