Welcome to our families and welcome back to our returning families. I am excited for another inspiring and enjoyable year at IFS. Stage 4 has had a crazy start to 2015; we had only been at college for four days when we went to our annual camp.
This year camp took us to Camp Wombaroo, about 20 minutes inland from Mittagong, about a 2 and a half hour drive from IFS. While at camp students were split into seven groups. Each group had a camp instructor and a teacher or coach. I planned this camp to be a little different to our usually Stage 4 camp, with a hiking/camping experience.
Four of the groups were to undertake the hiking/camping the first two nights and the remaining three the second two nights. Instead of boring you with my recollections and experiences of camp (for me the best part was by far the shower I had when we got back from camping)!
Below are some of the favourite parts according to Stage 4…
Joel H – Not the giant swing the trek was the best.
Flynn – The giant swing and the food.
Taiden – Camping
Jackson S – Vertical Challenge.
Aiden B – Archery.
Ivan – Camping, hiking, giant swing and food
Sean C – Eating good food.
Joch C – Playing football in spare time.
Matt T – Eating Mars bars while trekking.
