Have you ever taken the time to consider ‘How much do I love Australia?’
Being a Scot living in this amazing country, this question is one I frequently ponder. During the next two weeks, Stage 5 will take a journey into the wonder and beauty of the Australian Continent through the lens of ‘What makes Australia unique?’ From the thriving metropolis of the Great Barrier Reef to the extraordinary serenity of the Bungle Bungles. The reality is there are many unique parts of Australia, some we know of and an abundance to find out more.

So if your children come home from college with a sudden interest in the Australian continent and how it was shaped, or a yearning to go exploring, you know the reason. Hopefully, all our students will benefit in some way from their experiences in Geography this term.
When we collaborate and communicate, our learning is richer. To help us all deepen our knowledge, I invite you to share your thoughts on “What makes Australia unique”? You hold the knowledge of this land and discussing this with your children will truly benefit their learning. Talking about sharing, if you know any ‘unique’ Australian places worth visiting please post and share here. It’s always great to hear more about the Australian land. Aren’t we always on the look out for another amazing holiday spot?
