We work really hard in our class to be thankful for the little things and to verbalise this thanks to whoever needs to hear it. At the start of last week we took our class to see the 26 Story Treehouse play down in Sydney. As always the class was exceptionally well behaved and everything went wonderfully (except for my parking skills but that’s for another blog). Out of the 50+ students we took, only one took the time to shake my hand and say “thank you”. This really struck a note with me and will sit with me for a long time. The power of the words “thank you”.
So on this note, I would like to take the time to say thank you to stage 3 parents for sending your children to our college. Thank you for trusting us with their education. This is a job that I certainly don’t take lightly. Without the parents, we wouldn’t have a college. Your children should be extremely thankful to have you and I know that there are a few of them who do say this to you often. So once again, thank you.

A lovely post. Know how thankful we all are to you and Karen. You are both amazing teachers and people. The play last night really highlighted the fantastic connection you have with the kids and also was a demonstration of the deep leanings that they are experiencing.
Enjoy the holidays 🙂

And thank YOU (and Karen too). I am constantly telling people how lucky we are that Sam has such amazing teachers. It was obvious watching the play that the kids are wholly engaged in their learning and enjoy being at college – and that is thanks to their teachers and coaches. Well done IFS – enjoy your break and see you next term 🙂

It makes me sorry happy to see my 3 boys so happy… you guys (teacher’s and coaches) all do such an amazing job and its because of you all that our kids are becoming the well balanced, positive and passionate young people they are. Tuesdays Yr 6 play was just 1 more example of your inspiration work. A big thank you for another great college term!!!

Our whole family enjoyed Wednesday’s play so much.
Thank you IFS for a great night!
The students all looked like they enjoyed it just as much as the audience too.
Harry was on such a high when he got home that he couldn’t stop talking and it took him a while to fall asleep – which he did eventually…but as soon as he woke up on Thursday morning – he started talking again 🙂
Well done everyone.
Looking forward to another great term.
