Below I’ve linked to some research which suggests adolescent athletes who sleep less than eight hours per night are 1.7 times more likely to get injured than those who slept more than eight hours. The recommended amount of sleep for an adolescent athlete would be in the range of 10-11 hours per night. How many parents ensure their kids achieve this?
