The International Tennis School has hit the ground running. Our players have settled into their daily routine and are beginning to understand what is meant by the basic philosophy Effort Equals Reward.
I am Greg Brownlow, your Tennis Director.
As a player, honesty to yourself is the most important factor to being successful. Am I working to my maximum level, am I focusing on the tasks at hand, am I listening to my coaches and understanding their advice, am I striving to be better, am I putting in 100% effort all the time and most of all, am I having fun doing all of the above.
In short, is the effort I am putting in at training, equalling the reward I am gaining in my matches. If a player is honest with themselves in rating their day to day efforts and understanding what their personal ‘ten out of ten’ level of effort is, then reaching and maintaining that level can be easily achieved on a daily basis. That effort will be rewarded with success in matches. That’s our mission. Stay tuned for our progress.
Just a whisper to finish. Three of our players have all qualified for the MJDS Champion of Champions Event. Maybe our players recent Efforts are equalling their rewards.
Yours in tennis,
Greg Brownlow
