The end of term 2 at IFS is fast approaching and students are working hard to produce their final project assessment tasks. The overall focus of projects this term has been the Australian indigenous people. Each subject has taught us about their history, culture and traditions. We have been lucky enough to visit a local wildlife park and next week we will be watching a performance from NAISDA, our neighbouring indigenous dance college.
On the last day of term (Friday 28 June) we will be hosting a Celebration Day. We invite all parents and friends to our college to showcase our work and understanding of indigenous Australia. Students have been working hard to produce imovies, gymnastics performances, games and of course our native garden. We will be sending out invitations this week so pencil in the date, bring your good selves and a plate to share to our end-of-term celebration BBQ.
