We’ve had some interesting times at IFS this week, with many staff members going above and beyond the call of duty.
With the absence of a chef, last Monday’s public holiday saw Principal Laura in the cafe kitchen preparing for the coming week. My partner, my boys and I all went into college to see what we could do to help. While Larissa and Laura got stuck into making spinach and feta rolls I noticed the big bus was very dirty. Unable to help myself, the boys and I got to work to give it a clean. My youngest loves clean cars so he had a blast hosing the big bus down.
As the term draws to a close, teachers and coaches are busily completing student reports. This term has been very stressful at times, but extremely rewarding and I pinch myself often at how drastically student numbers have grown in such a short time. With only two remaining weeks of term, my family and I are looking forward to a holiday in Canberra and the excitement of our college’s participation in the Kanga Cup!
I thought the bus looked extremely clean – very impressive. Good work boys, was really nice to see and good of you all to take on such a big job, (with Dad’s help). Great advertisement for the college.
