K-2 Sport
The CCSC K-2 sport program offers daily sport sessions to promote the development of physical literacy for students who enjoy sport..
Sport sessions ensure students develop fundamental movement skills, improve fitness and learn about fair play while having a whole heap of fun with friends. The daily program exposes students to a variety of sports and includes an offsite sport each week to access specialised spaces.
A typical yearly program across K-2 includes the following sports: football, tennis, rugby, netball, AFL, touch, OzTag, athletics, cricket, dancing, gymnastics, parkour, judo, swimming, Tball and outdoor education experiences.
Our program supports individual development to foster confidence. From body and spatial awareness to small group games, game play and tactical awareness, the K-2 sports program provides a strong foundation of sporting skills to prepare students for transition to the elective sports program in Year 3.
