Our Senior College focuses on developing well-educated student athletes, leaders and community ambassadors.
Our Sports College is proud to offer Big Picture Learning to our senior students. Big Picture Learning is an educational model focusing on personalised, student-centred learning, where students spend 1-2 days a week working on real-world projects based on their interests. Mentored by experts, they gain hands-on work experience to support their education.
This approach empowers student athletes in Years 7-12 to drive their own learning. In advisories of up to 20 students, each learner works with an adviser to plan and manage their academic journey. Through internships they connect classroom learning to industry-based opportunities. By Years 11 and 12, our student athletes refine their interests to build a post-school pathway for further study or employment, ensuring they are prepared for success after school.
Family involvement is key, with regular learning plan meetings and exhibitions each term to showcase growth. Their achievements are compiled in a graduation portfolio, reflecting readiness for further study, employment, or entrepreneurship.
