I have been involved in football for over 25 years, starting as a youngster in the Penrith/Blacktown region representing the Rooty Hill Gunners from U6-9’s, (grassroots club).
From there I progressed to the Blacktown City Demons from U11 to first grade (National Premier League). In 2001 I signed my first professional contract with the Parramatta Power FC (National Soccer League). In my professional career spanning 13 years I have been lucky enough to travel throughout various parts of the world as well as play in some fantastic leagues such as the Chinese Super League and A-League. I have been fortunate enough to win two league titles in 2008/09 and 2010/11 with the Central Coast Mariners FC. I also had the privilege of being part of the team that won the 2013 A-League championship. As well as being part of these successful Central Coast Mariners teams, I have also been fortunate enough to play in five Asian Champions League campaigns.
Having retired as a professional footballer two years ago I am currently in the process of completing the FFA/AFC C Licence. Leading up to my current role with IFS I was the community development officer for the Central Coast Mariners. I am also the current assistant first grade coach of the Kanwal/Warnervale Rovers FC.
I am excited to be joining the team at IFS and looking forward to working with like-minded people who are passionate about the game of football. I hope to bring my experience and professional skills to the college to help each and every student reach their potential and their goals both on and off the football field.
