Junior College Program (Years K-6)
Junior College
Our college is fully registered by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA, formerly BOSTES) adhering to their mandatory curriculum requirements for Kindergarten through to Year 12.
At Central Coast Sports College we are passionate about preparing your child for a future beyond the classroom. Relationships are central to every aspect of College life and our Junior College Homeroom teachers regularly communicate with families to ensure the development of your child is a partnership between the College and your family.
Our innovative education program immerses students in experiential learning, giving them the opportunity to learn through reflection on play-based and inquiry-based experiences. The Junior College implements the Walker Learning Pedagogy from Kindergarten to Year 6. This allows teachers to build trusted relationships with students, personalise learning to be culturally and developmentally appropriate and assists with engaging students through their interests. Learning is real, relevant and meaningful with students engaged in authentic opportunities to explore, experiment, collaborate and reflect.
