Central Coast Sports College (CCSC) is entering an exciting new chapter, with refreshed leadership. This marks a continued commitment to creating the best possible environment for our student athletes, one that supports their individual growth, nurtures their potential, and empowers them to thrive both in sport and in life beyond College.
A change in leadership roles at CCSC
From the beginning of Term 3, founder and Principal, Paul Chapman, will move from his current role to CEO. This new role will focus on planning for the College’s future, including exploring opportunities for new campuses and securing the support needed for growth, while remaining dedicated to our school community.
Over the past 12 months, Paul has been working closely with the leadership team and board members to define the future direction of CCSC. CCSC’s ambition is to have a positive impact on the lives of student athletes, nurturing their growth as individuals, while empowering its strong community of families, staff, business and sporting partners. We believe we can expand our impact beyond what we’ve built in Kariong, with roots as the first International Football School on the Central Coast.
New CCSC Principal, same values
Having served our College for many years, including Acting Principal, current Deputy Principal, Mark Brown, has been appointed as Central Coast Sports College Principal. Mark brings a deep understanding of our College’s vision and core values of connection, curiosity, determination, courage, and humility. With a strong commitment to supporting student athletes and their families, Mark’s leadership aims to ensure the College continues to provide the resources needed for ongoing success.
Additional CCSC leadership appointments
CCSC will introduce two new Deputy Principal roles to strengthen our operations. Please congratulate:
- Trent Worrall (currently Director of Sport) will become Deputy Principal of Sport & Operations, supporting the delivery of sport and operational planning.
- Jesse Manners (currently Director of Wellbeing) will move into the role of Deputy Principal of Wellbeing, overseeing Discipline and Wellbeing.
