Mitch Marlin recently took some of our Year 9 CCSC students to Glendale School of Excellence in Special Education where they ran games and drills. The Glendale students learned a lot from the session and had great fun – the smiles on their faces were priceless.
Volunteering is a two-way exchange though. The more you give the more you get; skills, experience, friends, or the feeling of knowing your contribution has made a positive difference. CCSC students are often out and about volunteering and always seem to be positively influenced after doing so.
If you know of an organisation that might benefit from a helping hand from our students, please let us know.

I worked at Glendale School as a Teacher’s Aide. It’s a great college with beautiful children. I think it’s a great idea. The children learn to give back to the community with their skills. There should be more of it. It would mean so much to the kids at Glendale.
