If the recent Constellation Cup series between the Australian Diamonds and the New Zealand Silver Ferns is anything to go by, netball in Australia is proving to be a sport everyone will want to be involved in. Australia dominated winning all 4 games, retaining the cup for another year and setting the benchmark for the upcoming Commonwealth Games and the search for gold.
Australian netball has become a haven for home-grown and international athletes to be exposed to the best coaching, facilities, programs, athletes and competitions around the world. It is an exciting era for the sport and it is continually evolving to embrace change and growth, to challenge those who love the sport.
Whether at an elite level or grass roots, children, teens and young adults are drawn to netball’s culture. This great game provides its participants with a sense of belonging within a team striving to achieve a goal, physical and emotional benefits, the challenge of competition individually and as a group and basically a whole lot of fun.
The college has identified netball as a sport that provides an abundance of opportunities for growth, development and enjoyment. Our program has been designed to cater for a broad range of age groups and capabilities. There is a distinct pathway within the game of netball. The proposed CCSC Netball program wants to be involved in navigating its athletes along this pathway.
Don’t miss your opportunity to be part of the proposed inaugural CCSC Netball program in 2018.
