This week I was reflecting on 2016. I really can’t believe how fast it has gone. I know each year I seem to say the same thing. My middle son has started his HSC and I still remember him being in Kinder like it was last month.
Times does go quickly as Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr once said, “The more things change, the more they stay the same.”
Bearing this in mind I managed to find a really great photomontage, where a photographer has taken photos of people 40 years ago and then gone back and found the same people and taken another photograph.
Philosophically, I asked myself “are they the same people or have they really changed?”
Does this mean that things don’t change, unless you’re looking? Does it matter “how” you look?
Ultimately I think it’s what we bring to the table that creates the change and defines who we are.
Enjoy the pictures, they say it all.
Thanks for a great year and all the best for 2017, times fly!
